Issues Resolved

The following issues are resolved in this update.

  1. Compatibility with Windows 7

  2. Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1 must be installed if you are installing Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 on Windows 7.

  3. Duplicate Campaign emails are no longer sent when the Email Service starts again after closing unexpectedly

  4. Update Maximizer on the server only to Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1 to apply this fix.

  5. The TAPI functionality in Maximizer Compatible with ShoreTel/Mitel phone system

  6. Update Maximizer to Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1 on each machine that requires TAPI functionality.

  7. Maximizer now displays characters in certain foreign languages properly

Installation of Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1 is optional if you are not installing Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 on Windows 7 and are not experiencing the issues described in points 2, 3, and 4.

Install Instructions

Before installing, please be sure that you have your product serial number. Follow the instructions below to install Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1 Server or Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1 Workstation.

  1. Close all applications.
  2. Uninstall any Maximizer Add-ons, such as MaxExchange Synchronization Server 10.5 R2, MaxMobile 10.5 R2, or Accounting Link 10.5 R2.
  3. Uninstall Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2.
  4. Download and install Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1.
  5. Reinstall the Maximizer Add-ons.

Notes:

  1. To access your Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Address Book using Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1, you simply open the database.
  2. It is recommended that all machines run the latest and same version of the software, however, you can choose to update the server components first, and then update all the workstations at a later time. You can also choose not to install Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1 unless you require the fixes included in this service release.

MaxMobile 10.5 R2

Follow the instructions below if you are using MaxMobile 10.5 R2.

  1. On the computer where MaxMobile 10.5 R2 is installed, uninstall MaxMobile 10.5 R2.
  2. Uninstall Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2.
  3. Install Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1.
  4. Install MaxMobile 10.5 R2.

Note: MaxMobile 10.5 R2 users do not need to uninstall MaxMobile manually from their devices.

MaxMobile Wireless Synchronization Server 10.5 R2

Follow the instructions below if you are using MaxMobile Wireless Synchronization Server 10.5 R2.

  1. On the computer where MaxMobile Wireless Synchronization Server 10.5 R2 is installed, uninstall MaxMobile Wireless Synchronization Server 10.5 R2.
  2. Uninstall Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2.
  3. Install Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1.
  4. Install MaxMobile Wireless Synchronization Server 10.5 R2.

Note: MaxMobile 10.5 R2 users do not need to re-install MaxMobile on their devices.

MaxExchange Synchronization Server 10.5 R2

Follow the instructions below if you are using MaxExchange Synchronization Server 10.5 R2.

  1. Uninstall MaxExchange Synchronization Server 10.5 R2.
  2. Uninstall Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2.
  3. Install Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1.
  4. Install MaxExchange Synchronization Server 10.5 R2.
  5. Update any remotes that require the fixes included in this service release from MaxExchange Remote 10.5 R2 to MaxExchange Remote 10.5 R2 Service Release 1 by uninstalling Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 and installing Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1.

MaxSync 10.5 for Microsoft Exchange

Follow the instructions below if you are using MaxSync 10.5 for Microsoft Exchange.

  1. On the computer where MaxSync 10.5 for Microsoft Exchange is installed, make sure Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 is also installed.
  2. Stop the MaxSync Service.
  3. Uninstall Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 and install Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1 in the computer where MaxSync is installed.
  4. Start the MaxSync Service.

Maximizer CRM Customization Suite 10.5 R2

Follow the instructions below if you are using Maximizer CRM Customization Suite 10.5 R2.

  1. In the computer where Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 and Maximizer CRM Customization Suite 10.5 are installed, uninstall Maximizer CRM Customization Suite 10.5 R2.
  2. Uninstall Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2.
  3. Install Maximizer CRM 10.5 R2 Service Release 1.
  4. Install Maximizer CRM Customization Suite 10.5 R2.
  5. The Interface Customization tool can now be used.
