Problem

If Maximizer CRM 10 Entrepreneur is installed over an older version of Maximizer, when attempting to open a newly created address book or a recently converted address book, you get the following message:

The selected Address Book was created by an earlier version of Maximizer and is not compatible with this version. Please run the appropriate Address Book upgrade from the Utilities menu in Administrator before opening.

Solution

There may be a remnant file called MaMaster.dll, left behind from an installation of Maximizer lingering on your machine. Follow the procedure below to resolve this issue.

  1. Search your computer (You can open the search window by pressing the Windows key + F, F3, or clicking Start > Find > for Files or Folders) for the
    MaMaster.dll file.
  2. If the file appears in any folder other than the /Program Files/Common Files/Maximizer folder, rename or delete it.

    3. Maximizer should now be able to open Address Books without issue.
