What features in Crystal Reports 2008 are supported in reports opened in Maximizer?

Answer

Maximizer supports only features from earlier versions of Crystal Reports.

When you access reports saved in Crystal Reports 2008 from Maximizer, an error message is displayed. For more information on the message, see Error Message when Opening Reports Created in Crystal Reports 2008.

All new features in Crystal Reports 2008 are disabled in reports opened from Maximizer, including the following features:

  • Crosstab improvements
  • Interactive parameters
  • Sort controls
  • XML exporting

Maximizer cannot open reports containing the following Crystal Reports features:

  • Barcodes
  • Embedded Shockwave Flash (.SWF) files
  • XML web services

Versions Affected

  • Maximizer CRM 11
  • Maximizer CRM 10.5
